Antes se tenía relación con los pueblos de al lado, con Salinas, Subiza. Había gente que tenía familia en esos pueblos. El pueblo más importante de la zona era Beriáin. Tenía un pinar muy bonito desde el final del pueblo y yendo hacia el Mochuelo por el monte.
