En Tafalla había varias tabernas, solían ir los hombres después de trabajar en el campo a beber y a merendar. Las mujeres no solían entrar al bar, era más habitual que se juntaran en las cafeterías. En esa época las mujeres no bebían alcohol porque les daba mucha vergüenza.
