Félix estudió en el colegio de los Escolapios de Tafalla, las chicas estudiaban en la escuela de las monjas. Félix tiene buen recuerdo de la escuela, aunque no le gustaba estudiar y prefería trabajar. Recuerda que utilizaron el mismo libro durante cuatro cursos y sin hacer mucho esfuerzo les aprobaban.
