Gipuzkoan ere JOC bezalako mugimendu bat bazegoen, baina euskaraz jardunez. JOC, Juventudes Obreras Católicas, apaizek sortutako mugimendua zen. Don Juan apaizari esker mantendu zen euskara Arbizun, eta hortik sortu zen JOC mugimendua herrian eta baita inguruko herrietan ere. Berrogei bat pertsona elkartzen ziren. Oso gogorrak izan ziren garai horiek, presio sozial handia baitzegoen.
