Su madre en invierno les compraba camisones de franela, era una tela mas abrigada para resguardarse del frío. Recuerda lo mucho que costaba lavar esa ropa a mano y en la lavadora. Cerca de su casa había un lavadero cubierto, algunas mujeres solían ir con la ropa en la cabeza a ese lavadero.
