Anita con catorce años se puso a trabajar de sirvienta y en el campo, en verano también trabajaba en la cosecha del tomate y el pimiento. Al tiempo empezó a trabajar en la empresa Azkoyen de Peralta, allí estuvo varios años hasta que se casó.
