En el campo se cultivaba mucho cereal, viña y espárrago, el espárrago en esa época dio dinero. Antes se trabajaba todo a mano, no había cosechadoras, segaban a mano y trillaban en la era. Había jornaleros que salían por la mañana a buscar trabajo y en la vendimia venía gente de la zona de Castilla.
