En esa época hubo mucha lucha obrera, la Asociación de Vecinos ayudó con comida a las familias de trabajadores en huelga. Los vecinos de Ansoáin también estuvieron apoyando a los médicos de la Clínica Ubarmin que se encerraron para que no vendieran la clínica al Opus Dei.
