Su madre le confeccionó el traje de Comunión. Tras la misa se organizaba una comida en casa con la familia y luego había allegados o amistades que iban a casa a darles la enhorabuena, aunque el comulgado iba a visitar a los vecinos por sus casas para que les dieran la paga.
