Los jornaleros iban a la plaza por la mañana esperando que les llamaran para trabajar en el campo. Los jornaleros hacían muchos trabajos de escardar viña, cereal o poda. La siega se hacía de madrugada, su padre tenía fama de ser buen segador, estuvo segando en muchos sitios.
