El depositario era el interventor que cobraba todos los recibos. Podía durar muchos años en el cargo. También había secretario. Se elegía a quien valía para ellos, aunque no por votación rigurosa. Para ser diputado en Navarra se compraban y se vendían votos, en tiempos de Amadeo Marco.
