Su padre murió en la Clínica San Juan de Dios, les avisaron del fallecimiento y le llevaron en una ambulancia hasta casa. Recuerda que el ataúd lo llevaron en un autobús de línea. El funeral de su padre fue el primer funeral que se hizo por la tarde en Tirapu.
