    Context

    Hizo la mili en Pamplona, y dos inviernos en la Molina, en total 28 meses. Comían cáscaras de habas secas, patatas sin aceite y macarrones. Estuvieron escalando en Canfranc, y cuando estaba en Pamplona venía a menudo a casa. También estuvo 40 días de marcha en San Cristóbal, y en Labordeta (Erro), etc. porque estaba en batallones de montaña, y le tocó perseguir maquis en el Pirineo, cuando el gobierno francés les echó en el 44 y empezaron a cruzar la muga.
