    La banda de música tenía que tocar en las fiestas, en ferias, o en días señalados como santa Cecilia o el Semana Santa. También hacían actuaciones fuera de Lumbier, espeiclamente el quinteto. Como el ayuntamiento no estaba obligado, muchas veces las cuadrillas ponían dinero para pagarles. También tocaban en bodas.
