    1872an liberal eta karlisten arteko bataila izan zen Orokietan. Bera txikia zenean, trintxeren zuloak oraindik ikus zitekeen mendian. Aitak bataila nola izan zen kontatu zion: liberalek karlistak prisionero hartu eta elizan sartu zituzten; Gurutze Gorria aurreneko aldiz, herrira etorri zen zaurituak laguntzeko; Carlos VII bere arbasoen etxean ezkutatu zen eta haiek lagundu zuten ihes egiten.
