En Olite había vecinos más ricos que otros. En general la gente era bastante pobre, no había dinero. Muchos jornaleros salían a la plaza en busca de un poco de jornal. Había que ir a vendimiar, racimar, limpiar remolacha… con el frio que hacía al campo.
