En casa tenían una viña que trabajaban sus tías. La viña había que labrarla y sulfatarla. La uva que cultivaban era americana no era para vino sino para comer en casa. Maduraba bien, pero era muy pequeña y tenía mucha pepita. En la Venta, a diferencia del pueblo, no se hacía vino.
