Al mediodía comían mucha legumbre con tocino y una tostada de pan. En la cena pimientos hechos con la grasa del tocino y un huevo. Comían mucho pescado de mar y también de río. En Navidad hacían sopa de almendras con leche, era más rica que el turrón.
