En Lerín había siete curas, recuerda el nombre de varios párrocos. El mejor fue don Pablo Ciriza, fue el que le dio la Primera Comunión. Cuando se cruzaban con el cura le besaban la mano. También hubo varias monjas en el convento, se dedicaban a dar clase.
