El cura les daba la catequesis, una vez faltaron por ir al río a por mimbres y le castigaron por eso. Carmen tuvo varias anécdotas con ese cura, recuerda una que alguien del pueblo tocó las campanas de llamada al rosario y le culparon a ella.
