En Julio tenían sobre todo rebaños de ovejas, las llevaban a pastar a San Martín y otros pueblos de Navarra. Marino recuerda una vez que fue hasta Oricáin con las ovejas. En esa época las hierbas se subastaban, antes había muchos pastores en la zona, ahora no hay ninguno.
