Bajaban a fiestas de Villava a comer relleno, un alimento muy típico de esa localidad que estaba muy rico. Después de la Guerra se comían muchas sardinas viejas. Miguel ha llegado a comer culebra, erizo, gato y lechuza. La culebra estaba muy rica.
