Sustainability Study for Preservation and Utilization of IntangibleCultural Heritage Through Co-evolutionYongnam KimAbstract: This study looked at the process of co-evolution (self-organization) by using a qualitative research method targeting the practitioners of Andong Noddari Tramp, an intangible cultural property, and local residents participating in the performance. Local residents learned to play and performed through participation in intangible cultural assets, and realized self-realization through self-respect and self-satisfaction and a sense of achievement, and embraced the audience and sought publicity. This iterative process broadened the understanding and participation of local residents and communities, and was able to form a consensus on the preservation and necessity of intangible cultural properties. Transmitters between groups can resolve various conflicting situations that appear in the process of enjoyment, and those who enjoy and inheritors focus on the process of growing into a voluntary community by spreading the achievements and experiences of participating in intangible cultural heritage, and study the sustainability of intangible cultural heritage. It is meaningful in that sense. It is expected that the follow-up research will lead to empirical research including the role of mediators and audiences that enable the growth of the intangible cultural heritage community.Key Words: Local Residents, Co-evolution, Intangible Cultural Heritage, Intangible Cultural Property, Sustainability
