Context

Pasaban portugueses. Venían muy mal, cansados, mal calzados... Alguno murió. Apareció un portugués en una borda. Los traían en maleteros, estaban mal calzados... Estaban peor que los maquis, solían pedir comida.

            Comían casi todo el año fuera (por las hierbas, helechos, castaños...). Las hermanas les llevaban la comida en la cabeza. El padre les decía que si veían a algún portugués o a algún maqui les dieran comida.

            No le gustaba pasar gente, es muy distinto.
