A los críos se les bautizaba nada más nacer. Ella no fue al bautizo de sus hijos. Las madres no solían acudir, para eso estaban las madrinas, las encargadas de llevar a los críos a bautizar. Las mujeres no estaban más de 8 días en la cama. Al décimo día acudían a misa a presentar al niño, no antes.
