En su casa mataban bastantes cerdos al año, porque iban a vender a Ubago, Mirafuentes, Otiñano y a Sorlada, ya que no había otro carnicero en la zona. También mataban ovejas para abastecer los pueblos. Iban mínimo dos días a la semana.
