La mayoría de la gente del pueblo se dedicaba al sector primario. Cada hogar tenía un poco de huerta o campo. Señala que esto era muy cansado porque, de esta manera, tenían trabajo durante todo el año. Ellas tenían arrendados los campos de su tía. Durante la Guerra se hacían requisas y nos cuenta cómo escondían el trigo.
