Solía ir con la peña La Jarana a los toros, aunque el primer año se hizo de La Única. Las corridas de los toros se celebraban igual que ahora. A Ángel le gustaban mucho las mulillas y solía ir a verlas. Recuerda ver algunas veces a Hemingway, la mayoría de las veces borracho, aunque Ángel afirma que era un hombre muy respetuoso y educado.
